Heron Landing is located just minutes from downtown Fort Frances and the International Bridge.

The golf course is located on the east end of Fort Frances on Couchiching First Nation 3.1 km (2mi) down Frog Creek Road on Beautiful Rainy Lake. 

Frog Creek Road is located directly across from the CC Complex gas station and Chester Fried Chicken Restaurant.
